Paraguay is strategically located in the heart of
South America. It limits to the north and northwest
with Bolivia, to the southwest, south and east with
Argentina and to the northwest and east with Brazil.
Its capital is Asuncion with two millions inhabitants’
including surroundings, and with a total of 5.206.101
inhabitants in all. The weather is subtropical. Summers
in Paraguay (from December to March) have an average
temperature of 30 Grades Celsius or 86 Grades Fahrenheit,
while winter (from July to September) is pleasant
with an average temperature of 14 grades Celsius or
57 grades Fahrenheit. Rainy season goes generally
in January and October, while the driest month goes
from May to August.
